History of the Department:-
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of TOMCH & RC Started in 2013 and seeing the department in this field day one. The department has grown from fully equipped OPD's, Specialty clinics, OT 24X7 Maternity Services, Colposcopy, Post Menopausal Clinic, cancer screening clinic, high risk pregnancy clinic. In 2019 we successfully faced the PG assessment and now it is a Post Graduate department, opening the gates for further milestones.

  • Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy surgery services available.
  • Preventive Gynecology services started.
  • Cervical cancer screening conducted in camps  along with Airport authority of India
  • Dedicated faculty to do constructive work.

The academic and administrative activities of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology are carried out efficiently/ effectively under the auspices of the professor and head of department along with a team of professor, associate Professor, assistant professor, senior resident and junior resident, In Obstetrics and Gynecology. The nursing staff and technical staff and Biomedical engineering help maintain the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology established a Museum of   Obstetrics and Gynecology dedicated subject with historical photographs depicted impartment events, historical charts and with collection of invaluable pieces of equipments.

  • Department with library and seminar room with latest Audio visual aids, museum including bone models and specimens.
  • Well equipped labour room and IUI lab maternity OT 24/7 maternal services.

CME Program and Activities:-

We are conducting CME programmes with national faculties along with interaction with other allied departments. Clinical classes, evaluation of the students, internal assessment theory and clinical assessment. We are regularly conducting guest lectures, workshops, clinico-pathological meet, integrated teaching programme and skill lab.
